Oharaya

Luchi and Eriko are both worldwide travellers and have been interacting with the JET community (Assistant Language Teachers) since around 1990.
As a result both of them speak some English and are more than helpful when it comes to aiding any newcomers to the Hita community.

One of the more than generous hosts of the Oharaya Milk Hall. Luchi is the main cook, in this corner resturant run by him and his wife.

Luchi has quite a strong grasp of English, which often helps to put those with less than perfect Japanese a little more at ease.

Come in and get something to eat (or drink) while you relax and chat in a comfortable environment.

Eriko is Luchi's wife and will also welcome you with open arms and a warm heart. More than willing to help when she can, Eriko takes great pleasure in practicing her English when given the chance.
